Yasso's Donation to Colorado Healing Fund, Rallying Other Boulder Brands

Reacting to the tragic shooting at King Soopers, the Yasso team has sprung into action. Yasso, Inc. will be making a $100,000 donation to The Colorado Healing Fund to support the victims and families of last week’s unfathomable events. All proceeds from both the Yasso and Jüve Pops online stores will be donated to the Colorado Healing Fund, now through May 31.

Yasso is calling other local brands and businesses in Boulder to join in supporting the critical needs of our community. They will match all additional donations from local businesses, up to $50,000, to the Colorado Healing Fund. Just email proof of your donation to


New Mentor Program for Black Hemp Farmers Announced by Charlotte's Web

Charlotte's Web, Inc., a certified B Corp, recently launched "Seeding Our Future, Together," a mentorship program for Black hemp farmers and leaders. Charlotte's Web is partnering with 40-acre Cooperative, a growing organization with over 50 farmer members in seven states. 40-acre Cooperative is the first national cooperative to serve Black farmers launched in over a hundred years. The goal of the partnership is to begin to reverse the underrepresentation of Black farmers, businesspeople, scientists, and leaders in the hemp industry.


Danone and Ingredion Commit to Sustainable Agriculture and Water Use

Three major agricultural giants, representing $43 billion USD in annual revenue, announced new commitments to improve water stewardship as part of the Ceres and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) AgWater Challenge. They include Danone North America, owner of iconic dairy and plant-based brands; leading sweetener and starch producer Ingredion; and global food, confectionery, and petcare company Mars, Incorporated.


Hope Foods Adds New Vanilla Bean Flavor To Its Popular Cashew and Almond Dips

Hope Foods has expanded its popular Cashew & Almond Dip line with the release of its new Vanilla Bean flavor. Joining the brand’s Chocolate Cashew & Almond Dip, the new Vanilla Bean rounds out Hope Foods’ newest product category: dessert dips. Cocktail Squad Continues to Expand Distribution of Premium Canned Cocktails

Boulder-based Cocktail Squad announces expanded distribution of its products to Connecticut, Vermont, and East Texas. Cocktail Squad offers a line of eight premium, ready-to-drink classic canned cocktails fresh from the Rocky Mountains and is one of the few brands in the nation with a product line crossing over four real spirits.


Rowdy Mermaid Launches Mushroom-Based Adaptonic Line

Boulder-based Rowdy Mermaid announced this week that it is entering a new category with the launch of its Adaptonic™ immunity beverages. The launch of Adaptonic coincides with the release of a new Grapefruit Rise kombucha flavor, the brand’s first “energizing” kombucha, which, along with Adaptonic, will be available at Rocky Mountain Region Whole Foods Market retail locations. The majority of Rowdy Mermaid’s other kombucha flavors will soon be available at all Whole Foods Market locations nationwide.


RoseBud Ice Cream Launches New Chocolate, Dairy-free Frozen CBD Treat

Denver-based RoseBud Ice Cream recently launched a new dairy-free Choco-Chill CBD dessert. Served in 5 oz. cups with 30 mg of CBD, Choco-Chill is three concepts rolled into one: a CBD dessert, a chocolate snack, and a dairy-free treat. After launching in 2020, RoseBud now features 10 SKUs with offerings available at a wide variety of retailers including Whole Foods and also available on DoorDash.


DAZZ Cleaning Tablets Unveils New Hand Soap Product

DAZZ, the Broomfield-based manufacturer of home cleaning tablets, just released its new Foaming Hand Soap at the beginning of 2021. DAZZ creates non-toxic products in concentrated tablet form, with a mission to reduce plastic waste in the environment. The brand's Foaming Hand Soap, made to be dissolved in a reusable foaming pump bottle, is formulated with naturally-derived ingredients and is safe for sensitive skin. Wellness Brand Amari Launches New Adaptogenic Formula, Everyday Calm

Snack-makers Ka-Pop! and Bubba’s Fine Foods Merge

Erie-based Ka-Pop!
