BelMix congratulates Herbary Zhang for the defense of his PhD thesis entitled “When going it all alone : Four essays on stigma, health and social exclusion of single mothers in Thailand" under the supervision of Dr. Isabella Ng from The Education University of Hong Kong.

Asuncion Fresnoza-Flot participated as one of the discussants of the webinar "The Politics of Sanitization: Pandemic Crisis, Migration and Development in Asia-Pacific" organised on November 10 by Scalabrini Migration Center and Hiroshima University.

Asuncion Fresnoza-Flot presnted a paper entitled "Le travail domestique comme (contre)don: un apercu de la dynamique conjugale chez les couples « mixtes »" at the journée d'étude "Les hiérarchies de la domesticité : frontières spatiales, frontières sociales" that took placel on November 10-11 at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland).

Aaron Ponce and Cai Chen presented on 12 November 2022 a paper entitled “Sexuality, Socialization and Inequalities on the Move: The Lived Experiences of Young Chinese Gay Migrant Men in France and Belgium” at the ISSCO 30th Anniversary Conference "Diasporic Futures: Sinophobia, Techno-Political Strife, and the Politics of Care" (November 11-12, 2022; San Francisco, CA).

Asuncion Fresnoza-Flot and Gracia Liu-Farrer presented their edited volume “Tangled Mobilities: Places, Affects, and Personhood across Social Spheres in Asian Migration” (Berghahn, 2022) on November 14 at Sophia University, Japon.
