Artists in the gig economy are taking a hit. Right now, many of the ways that artists make their money—concerts, art fairs, readings—are getting canceled. Crosshatch is working with two lead donors to create an emergency relief fund. The fund is starting with $9,000 to help cover emergency expenses for artists in the 5-county area who have seen their income impacted by coronavirus. Additional donations are welcome.
