Dear Pastors, Friends, and Prayer Partners:
Bethlie and I our home in Florida after five very busy weeks on the road. It has been an amazing few weeks and it was very obvious that you were praying for us as we traveled! It was a privilege to serve churches in Virginia, North Carolina, and Arizona.
In my previous letter I shared with you the blessing of the first four weeks on the road. The final week was a blessing as well. We were privilege to serve in two churches that were new to us. The first was Colonial Baptist in Blue Ridge, Virginia. I preached on the family in every service and God was very evidently speaking to many hearts. Our final meeting was with People's Baptist in Greenville North Carolina. We had an incredible weekend at their couple's retreat and I thoroughly enjoyed preaching all day in the Sunday services. It is a blessing to be in churches where God is working, souls are being saved, and the power of the gospel is very evident. I am encouraged. I am very excited to see what God is doing in our generation!
The next two weeks will be different for us. My son Jacob and I are heading to the Philippines. For you who have been praying for my hand - I was able to bypass surgery. I currently have a cast that will be removed this weekend. I will then have to wear a brace for another four weeks but it should not limit our ministry in the Philippines at all. I will be speaking at graduation events for the college we help to start several years ago. God is really blessing IBCAP (Independent Baptist College Asia-Pacific) and we have over 450 students this semester. I will also be visiting the North Manila Cemetery ministry. Some of you have helped with that ministry in the past as well. The final eight days in the country will be spent preaching the gospel on the island of Panay. Please pray with me that many souls will be saved and that every church who participates will be strengthened in the faith! Most of our needs are met for this trip, but if you would like to have a part you can still give online at www.EvangelistDaveYoung.com. Our expenses at home will still need to be covered. And speaking of home, Bethlie will be able to spend some time with her mom in Ohio as well as speaking at a Ladies Conference at Mansfield Baptist in Mansfield Ohio. Please pray for her as well.
Please continue praying for Micah. He has had a very fruitful ministry and continues to see souls saved and churches strengthened. Micah has been able to speak to many college students. Souls have been saved in the colleges and many students have dedicated themselves to gospel ministry. I am so glad that God has opened the door for Micah to have such an impact in the 10/40 window. Please keep praying for him. Please pray for his support levels to increase. Please pray for a young lady he has met and is currently dating. It appears that wedding bells may be in the future. We are incredibly happy for him and thankful for his ministry.
We love all of you. If we can pray with you and for you about any matter, please send me an email and let me know how I can pray. You can text me if you would like at 740-973-3549.
Please keep praying.
Your sincere friend,
