Dear Pastors, Friends, and Prayer Partners:

We have had an awesome three weeks of revival meetings! It was very obvious that you were praying for us and that God was answering your prayers. Let me briefly tell you about our services.

New Life Baptist Church in Odenville, AL

This is a church that I schedule every year and each year it only get better!  We had great crowds, great response in each service, and a genuine touch of revival in our hearts and in the church.  The Children’s Revival Hour was especially blessed and I believe that young people were saved in every meeting.  Many, many teens came to the services and I was overjoyed to see many of them responding as God worked in their hearts.

Bible Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN

Bible Baptist is a new church to us and is pastored by one of my mentors (and now my friend), Dr. Greg Mutsch.  God is on the move at this church. They diligently prepared and fervently prayed and God not only honored their preparations, but also answered their prayers.  Teens and children were saved in the chapels. More children were saved in the Children’s Revival Hour.  Fourteen men were saved in the final service! Another teen was saved at home. And on and on I could go! The week was filled with one report after another that God was answering prayer and reviving hearts and doing miracles. We even extended the revival an extra night and I am so glad we did. I will long remember how God met with us in Hendersonville.

Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church in Gray, TN

Buffalo Ridge is Tennessee’s oldest Baptist church and it has a long history of souls saved and lives changed.  The church is currently without a pastor, but our good friend Pastor John Stevens is serving as Interim Pastor and he is leading the church in this time of transition. We had good services every night, but Tuesday night was a special one in which all of us sensed God’s presence and power in a remarkable way.  Dr. Gene Lasley, their beloved Pastor Emeritus, stated that it was a touch of “Old Time Religion.”  For me, if that is what “Old Time Religion” is like, that is exactly what I want!

Thank you so much for praying for these meetings and for our team as we serve local churches and as we seek to win souls and see revival.  We could not do it without you!

Thank you also for praying for all that is happening in our lives and family right now.  Bethlie’s mom, Mrs. Dennis, is having a very serious battle with cancer and Bethlie is back and forth between her and us right now.  This afternoon, Bethlie and I will be heading to the Gatlinburg area to speak at a Couple’s Prayer Advance for the next three days. Our children will stay here in Gray with our Evangelism Intern, Nicholas Anderson, who will also be speaking four or five times in public school Bible Clubs today and tomorrow. This weekend and next week we will be conducting a Family Conference at Boones Creek Bible Church in Johnson City, TN. Can you see how much we need your prayers? We are certainly grateful for your partnership

We love you all and would love to hear from you.  Send us a text (740-973-3549) or reply to this email and let us know how you are doing and how we can pray for you.

Thanks for being a friend of revival!

Your sincere friend,

Dave Young
