Dear Pastors, Friends, and Prayer Partners:
What a whirlwind past few weeks! I am not even sure where to start in telling you all about it. Our last 6 or 7 weeks have gone something like this:
We had a great revival week at Southeast Baptist in Indianapolis followed by a Family Conference in Dalton Ohio at Dalton Baptist.
Micah Self’s ordination weekend at our home church in Milton, FL (West Florida Baptist Church).
Our son Joshua’s wedding in Greenville, TX to the beautiful Bethany Pisney. The wedding was just perfect and they are now settling into their new ministry in Camarillo, CA at Horizon Baptist Church.
Wonderful week of camp at Richmond Lake Bible Camp in Aberdeen SD. Pastor Neil Hannahs runs a great camp week and I am always honored and delighted to serve the teens, pastors, church workers, and Pastor Neil's church family.
Our daughter Abigail’s wedding at our home church in Milton, FL to the handsome David Adams. Their wedding was also beautiful and they are back in Lancaster CA where David teaches at West Coast Baptist College and Abigail serves in the church and school offices at Lancaster Baptist Church.
Last week was another great camp week at Camp CoBeAc in the Houghton Lake area of Michigan. We had really amazing services and enjoyed seeing our son Matthew in action as a teen counselor. He was the guys leader of the blue team and his team won the week with overall points! Needless to say, we are quite proud of him and how God is using him this summer.
Tonight we finish a Family Conference here in West Bend, WI at Bible Baptist Church. It has been a good conference.
Please keep praying for us. Our next few days are busy with travel. We are heading home to FL and I will then fly to Nashville for Sunday Services with our good friend Greg Mutsch and the Bible Baptist Church of Hendersonville. On Tuesday of next week I will be returning to Michigan again to preach for First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. It is always a blessing to serve Pastor Howell and the church family there. If you live nearby, join us for the Tuesday evening service at 7pm.
I am blessed to be in evangelism. I am blessed that so many of you continually pray for us and regularly support us. Thank you so very much!
Please pray about a few special needs as well. Bethlie had some physical issues several weeks ago and had to have several tests as well as an out-patient procedure. Pray with us about her health and about these medical bills. She is doing better and we are making some dietary changes that will help in the future. Thank you for praying about these matters as well.
I am always willing to pray with you about your needs too. Feel free to send me an email if I can join you in prayer. You can also text me at 740-973-3549.
Your sincere friend,
