Dear Friends, Pastors, and Prayer Warriors,
October has come and gone. Now we are half way through November! I am so blessed to report that God has added five more supporting churches in the last month and my schedule is starting to fill up for deputation next year! God bless you for praying and supporting this ministry!
October 3-7 at Calvary Independent Baptist in NH with my friend Tom Morrill was a great World Impact Conference. Humanitarian groups from the community came and heard the preaching. This church was so encouraging to me and they have added the ministry on for monthly support!
October 13-14 I spoke at South Charlotte Baptist with Pastor Campbell. He always does his best to invest in me and we had a great missions service! The Christian school chapel and fellowship with him and his staff was enjoyable too!
October 20-22 was at an all time favorite, Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff Missouri. This church is full of friends, prayer partners, and godly people who I have been privileged to know since my days of Neighborhood Bible Time back in 2012. We had great services on Sunday and several teens indicated they trusted Christ to save them during chapel on Monday morning. Westwood also supports the international ministry.
October 27 brought me to Faith Baptist in Missouri. Pastor Dan Kelly and Pastor Anthony Fusco have a great ministry there. Sunday morning services were touched by God and I was able to share the gospel with several people during their trunk or treat event. One young man who claimed to be an atheist came up to me just to chat and I was able to lead him to the Savior Sunday evening!
November 3 I was able to attend my church's missions conference at West Florida Baptist. Hearing Missionary Matt Goins preach was inspiring. His messages were exactly what I needed.
November 7 I preached at West Florida Baptist Academy about being All In for Christ. Several responded publicly by standing up amidst their friends to say they would be totally committed to Jesus in their life.
This last week I have been making calls and emails to fill up my schedule next year for deputation. Please pray for more meetings and have me in if you can! I have also started working on Hindi. That has been fun and challenging. I still have a full summer of camps in 2020 and am developing many new messages for the JR’s and teens which requires plenty of study and meditation.
I leave Thursday the 21st to preach in Moldova. I will be speaking to young adults in Bible college in Chisinau and an institute outside the city as well. Please pray that God would move these young people to give their lives to missions following Jesus into the 10/40 window. I am thankful to God and Brother Eric Chapman for giving me the opportunity and providing for the trip. I have good friends and mentors.
The flight back to the USA arrives December 2nd and I fly the 4th to preach a missions conference at Hope’s Point Baptist Church in WV. I am looking forward to seeing many friends there including my pal Pastor Dan Vaughn.
Many have been praying that Joanna and I would receive her fiancé visa so we can get married in January. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that we received the visa and many other details have come together for us. The bad news is that we have decided to call off the engagement. I would be lying if I said that my heart hasn’t been hurting for a few weeks as I travel and answer so many questions while knowing in mind that things were ending. The long distance was hard on her, and myself, and through much prayer and counsel we have decided to serve the Lord separately. I would appreciate prayers for both of us as we move on. God has been faithful, loving, and kind by showering His grace on me during the past few weeks.
I am thankful for friends who support me, pray for me, and reach out to me. More and more churches are having in me in for revivals and opportunities to share the burden in the 10/40 window. All the glory goes to Jesus! I am blessed to have Him as my Savior and friend.
Thank you for reading this letter and carrying my calling in your heart and prayers.
In His love,
