Dear Prayer Partners, Pastors, and Friends,

It has been a blessed month since I last wrote! Every week of ministry was genuinely blessed by God and I feel so humbled that He uses weak things of the world, and things despised, and those that are foolish to accomplish His purposes; may we never glory in ourselves for what God has done.

The end of July at Camp Calvary in Pennsylvania is a week I will never forget. Atheist, Agnostic, Hindu, Catholic, and non-religious young people all found their hope and salvation in Jesus Christ. A certain businessmen gives thousands of dollars every year so unchurched teens can be brought to the camp. And every summer dozens are saved to God’s glory. Talk about laying up treasure in heaven!

August 1-3 at the Student Prayer Advance in West Virginia was a great revival weekend. I was able to preach with Dave and many many young people responded and were making decisions to walk humbly with God. This is a three day get away dedicated to the spiritual renewal of teens! And it encourages me every time I get to be a part.

August 4 I preached at Victory Baptist Church in Beaver, WV. The people were so open to God’s Word and were such a blessing to me personally. This church’s generosity helped make up for some low weeks financially for me. God is good!

August 5-9 Preaching in Massachusetts at Camp Northfield was blessed with a young man trusting Christ on the first night and incredible responses the rest of the week. I’m not sure if it was a lack of faith in God and the impact of my sermons but when the invitations were given I was stunned by how the teens responded. It is so refreshing to preach to open and humble hearts. Evangelist Colton Lee is a great friend and I enjoyed the time with him and Melody, his Fiancé.

August 11-16 Was the school revival at Crosspoint Baptist Church and Academy. It was such an encouraging time. The staff is so kind and respectful. It was a pleasure to spend time with the teachers and pastors. Every day God spoke to hearts in chapel and the testimony campfire at the end of the week was one of the best I’ve ever heard. I was glad to be a part of what the Lord is doing there.

August 18 I drove to Michigan for a missions Sunday at Anchor Baptist Church with Pastor Dillon Wiltshire. The people joyfully received the Word and I was blessed by their kindness and generosity. I am so thankful for another supporting church to help me take the gospel to the deepest regions of this needy world! I am planning a trip to Moldova in November to prepare young people for Evangelism in the 10/40 window.

Currently I am visiting my fiancé and her family in Vancouver, Canada. We are doing wedding planning as best we can while waiting on the government visa to get married in the USA. Please pray we will get the approval quickly.

Here is my schedule for the following month:

September 1-6 Immanuel Baptist in Michigan for a school revival

September 8-12 School revival at Faith Christian in Michigan

September 22-25 Missions Conference At Tabernacle Baptist in North Carolina

September 29 Preaching at Yates-Thagard Baptist Church and flying to New Hampshire

Thank you for all the prayers and words of encouragement. God has been so good to provide financially as well as spiritually. The best thing I can do for myself and others is to walk closely with Him. Will you pray that God would continue to be my all in all even as I desire to lead others into a relationship with Him through His Son?

God bless you for your love and support,

Evangelist Micah Self
