Dear Pastors, Friends, and Prayer Partners:
Can you believe that it is already mid-July? The summer is flying past rather quickly and before we know it these warm days will turn cooler and just around the corner we will be wishing for some warmer days again. Remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 9:37? “The harvest is plenteous,” He said, “but the laborers are few.” “Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields,” He said in John 4:35, “for they are white already to harvest.” As the summer flies past so quickly, don’t forget those around you who need our Savior in their lives. Perhaps there is a specific person you could speak to this very day. Go ahead and do it. You may find a divine appointment!
The last month and a half has been a whirlwind for our entire staff. Micah Self has preached in a Youth Conference in New York, a missions conference in Florida, a Teen Camp at Wolf Mountain Christian Camp in California, and three junior camps at Camp CoBeAc in Michigan. Between those junior camps he has also preached in several local churches! While he has been traversing the country, I have preached two Family Revival Meetings in Texas, a teen camp at the Wilds Christian Camp in North Carolina, and another teen camp and a Family Camp also at Camp CoBeAc in Michigan. I have also preached in several local churches for their Sunday services. Micah and I have seen souls saved every week! Just in the last few days 7 juniors have been saved and many others throughout the other weeks. It is always a delight to serve the Lord and we have been thrilled by the privilege to serve in so many places.
Thank you for praying for us as travel in the coming weeks and as we continue to make preparations for the meetings and services yet ahead in the Fall. Micah will be preaching here in the states for several weeks and will then be returning to the 10/40 window for several months. We are excited by the doors that God continues to open there. Please pray much for these evangelistic trips and for the final amounts needed to take care of all the expenses.
Your love and generosity always overwhelms us. We are amazed at God’s goodness through you. We have experienced several vehicle repairs recently and those needs have all been met. We have prayed for some time for a car for Micah and this past weekend, a brother at a church in Michigan was used of God to meet that need. We were all thrilled to see God answer this prayer. Praise God with us, will you?
Please keep praying. It is amazing to sense His strengthening power as a result of your praying. Your partnership is absolutely essential for us to continue to see souls saved and churches revived here at home and around the world.
We love you all. Write when you can.
Your sincere friends,
(and Micah Self)
