WYPW's 4th General Assembly

After over a year of preparation, we're pleased to be welcoming over 50 young leaders from around the world on March 16 for the General Assembly. Over seven days of activities, participants will challenge their knowledge and creative skills, and share their messages with decision makers at the World Water Forum.

The WYPW is a global youth network with members in over 80 countries, supported by the International Secretariat for Water. You can view the complete schedule and download a copy of the program here.

The International Secretariat for Water would like to thank the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and our core partners for their generous support. A full list of partners is available on our site.

Youth for Water and Climate

We will also launch the Youth for Water and Climate platform. This online hub connects young water leaders with experts, allowing youth to obtain technical and financial resources and support for innovative water projects.

The Butterfly Effect

The Butterfly Effect NGO Coalition will also be present in Brasilia! We are proud to have around 20 of our members from civil society organizations joining us at the Forum, where they will be active as panelists, theme and topic contributors, in addition to coordinating sessions. ISW, the network's co-coordinator, will moderate a special opening and closing session.

Schedule

World Water Day in Strasbourg: Place Kleber, March 22

Solidarity Water Europe has planned a day of action to mark World Water Day in Strasbourg. Over the last several months, we have collaborated with Strasbourg-area high schools on water-awareness and education sessions. We will be at Place Kleber from noon to 6:00 pm with a group of passionate students to raise awareness and initiate action.

More details coming soon.
