Call for Resolutions

Every year, members of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin are able to submit resolutions to the State Party's platform. It is a four step process:
  1. Submit Resolution to the County Party
  2. At the April Membership Meeting - the County Party will discuss any submitted resolutions. As a County Party we may pass up to 10 resolutions.
  3. At the 8th Congressional District Convention - Delegates from the County Parties will discuss and pass up to 10 resolutions to the State Convention.
  4. At the State Convention - Delegates from across the state will discuss and pass the State Party's Platform and Resolutions.

Resolutions must be limited to 100 words and be written in a WHEREAS, THEREFORE, RESOLVED format. If you have any questions about writing resolutions, again please reach out to Tom Lee.

Call for Delegates

If you'd like to hear from candidates, take part in the resolution debate, connect with other Democrats, and have some fun - then you should consider being a delegate for either the 8th Congressional District and/or State Conventions this year.
Dates are still being set but if you are interested in attending either event as a delegate - please let us know as there is a limited number who can attend from our County.
