Join us for Brunching on Blue!

“Brunching on Blue”, our biggest fundraiser of the year, is happening on Sunday, May 15. Instead of our traditional Bettin’ on Blue (BoB) dinner, we are changing it up with a delicious brunch. It is sure to be a fun and exciting event as we celebrate past and future successes.

On Sunday, May 15, we will gather at the Fox Club at the Timber Rattlers Stadium beginning at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30. We will have our usual line-up of political power with our very own Lee Snodgrass, 57th Assembly District Representative, serving as Master of Ceremonies. We are especially excited to welcome Matt Rothschild, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign as our keynote speaker.

“Brunching on Blue” tickets are $50 a person. You can also  “Sponsor a Dem'' by adding an additional $50, or more. The RSVP deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, May 6.  After two long years apart, it will be wonderful to gather with like-minded friends to share some plates and conversations, all while supporting the work we do throughout Outagamie County.

Volunteers needed: Community outreach with the DPOC

Parade season is upon us, and the Democratic Party of Outagamie County needs your help! We will have a float in both the Appleton Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30 (9:00am) and Appleton Flag Day Parade on Saturday, June 11 (2:00pm).  We are hoping for a LARGE turnout of DPOC volunteers and supporters, and we are currently seeking several volunteers to help assist with float decorating and coordination.  Interested in lending your creative and organizational talents?

The DPOC will also have a booth at the Outagamie County Fair (July 20-24). This will be a critical opportunity to connect with voters and engage in rural voter outreach ahead of the Fall Election.  We are looking for a leader (or two!) to help manage our booth this year and coordinate volunteers.
