More than 620 businesses came together recently at events in Hull and Teesside to learn about how they can contribute to building the world's largest carbon capture project at Drax.

The events, held in partnership with Worley and NOF, helped businesses learn about how they can win contracts worth hundreds of millions of pounds in total to deliver Drax's vital carbon removal technology, bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS).

Thank you to all our partners for attending!
Drax has an ambitious aim to source 80% of its BECCS construction and services supply chain from British businesses. The BECCS project will protect and create 10,000 jobs across the North during its construction, developing green skills and helping to level up the region.

It’s time to put words into action and scale up BECCS at Drax to deliver net zero, support energy security, and create opportunity across Yorkshire & the Humber.
Stay tuned for information on how you can get involved
