Our TWHP Book Club is resuming for 2022-2023. We meet bi-monthly via Zoom at 7:00 pm (usually on a Thursday) and read a book that has been selected by the group. We read fiction and non-fiction. We try to select books that are readily available in Toronto Public Library.

For our first meeting we will be reading Shut Up, You’re Pretty by Tea Mutonji. In November we will be reading Such Hardworking People: Italian Immigrants in Postwar Toronto by Franca Iacovetta and for our January meeting I am suggesting Toronto’s Girl Problem: The Peril and Pleasures of the City, 1880-1930 by Carolyn Strange.
