Ring and Ride
We are looking at making some changes to our Ring and Ride bookings. We hope to start to have more structured shopping journeys and regular journeys to different supermarkets.
We'll be writing to you if you already have a regular shopping journey with us, and we will publicise this more when we have it fully up and running, so hopefully we can do even more for all of you!
We have had a tough couple of years and we're taking these steps to make sure we can be more economic and sustainable in the long term.

Woodland Walks!

Our wonderful Voluntary Car Driver, Bill is standing down from GCT. Bill has driven well over 10,000 miles for GCT and has helped hundreds of our passengers.

Those of you that have traveled with Bill will know his cheery manner and his generosity and kindness. We have been so lucky at GCT to benefit from his commitment to his local community, as well as being a fantastic driver he has always brought a smile to all of us in the office.
Bill will always be a part of the GCT family but we hope he is beginning to relax a little bit more and enjoy his beautiful garden.

Council Tax Rebate

How and when you will get the £150 rebate

If you pay your council tax by direct debit

Payments have started being made into bank accounts if you pay your installments on day 4 of each month. These are being sent alphabetically by surname and will appear on your bank statement as ‘Energy Payment’. If you pay your installments on day 12, 20 or 25, your will receive your payment soon.

This process will take several weeks but most households that pay by direct debit will receive payments by the beginning of June. Please do not phone or email to chase your payment.

If you do not already pay by direct debit

We will start sending out letters or emails towards the middle of May with details of how you will get your rebate. These will be sent over a number of weeks so please do not contact us until the beginning of July if you have not received a letter or email.

Digital Divide

Healthwatch South Glos, Southern Brooks, South Glos Over 50s Forum, South Glos Diability and Equality Network and South Glos Community Learning have created a leaflet about Digital Divide. We thought some of the information would be useful for our passengers. If you want to know more, or need help with the online world please get in touch and we can signpost you!
