Football Section (Still) Needs Sponsors

The BA Clubs Football section have had a very long, successful and proud history in Middlesex Junior football, winning many league and County honours along the way.

But we need sponsors! Sponsoring a popular local team can be a great way of raising the profile of your business, so if you or anybody you know are interested in learning more about the opportunities available, contact Football Chairman Ray Pipe for more information.

Cargo Gym Gets Ecotastic
New Equipment
Two new pieces of equipment have recently been installed in the Cargo gym, and are already getting some great feedback from users, who are impressed with the range of exercises available AND that neither of these machines requires electric power - it's all generated by the user!
The Concept2 BikeErg is the latest addition to our family of sport-based ergometers. The BikeErg has the same flywheel and Performance Monitor as our Concept2 Indoor Rowers and SkiErgs, bringing to cycling the strengths and features we've previously brought to rowing and cross-country skiing.
The Concept2 SkiErg makes the sport of Nordic skiing available to everyone. Long recognized as delivering one of the toughest workouts around, Nordic skiing develops both strength and endurance and exercises the legs as well as the arms and core. The SkiErg can be used for both double pole and classic alternating arm technique.

And Finally...

We're supporting Down's Syndrome Awareness Week
16-22 March

Lots of socks is a fun, easy way to help raise, not only vital funds but awareness for Down’s syndrome.  This year we would love to see as many people as possible stepping forward in their odd socks! Why the odd socks?  Well, a chromosome looks a little like a sock and people with Down’s syndrome have an extra copy of the 21st chromosome.  It’s a great way to open up conversations and help raise awareness.
