We know it's time to look ahead to 2021, but let's take a minute to review these very special Holidays of 2020. Here are a few of our personal "lockdown bookselling" highlights:
A few days after the stores had to close again, we set up Video Shopping in our Amsterdam store. How does it work? You call in via Zoom and a staff member browses the shelves with you just as if you were standing in the store. We got such enthusiastic feedback from customers that we are working on offering the service on a daily basis - even when stores reopen!
Kudos to all colleagues in Amsterdam and The Hague who hopped on their bikes in order to deliver last-minute Christmas gifts! Bike delivery seemed fun during the first lockdown in spring, but this time our messengers had to face the cold and darkness while delivering.
Once more we want to thank you all for your loyalty and for ordering with us. We appreciate every single order we received in this difficult year 2020 and are looking forward to many more in 2021.
