The first batch of Checkpoints are now available. A year's worth of free Year 7 maths activities to help teachers assess understanding and lay foundations for KS3.
The Years 5-8 Continuity - Algebraic thinking focus Work Groups will incorporate many of the Checkpoint activities so that participants can consider them more deeply with primary colleagues from linked families of schools. These will take place in   HerefordShrewsbury and Wolverhampton. Please consider this opportunity with Year 5 and 6 teachers from your linked primary schools.

Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics (Secondary non-specialists)
Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics (Secondary non-specialists) - Telford

Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics (Secondary Early Career Teachers)
Teaching for Mastery for 2021-22

Teaching for Mastery Work Groups are suitable for all Secondary Maths departments, irrespective of whether you have setting or mixed attainment classes.

Developing Teaching for Mastery (includes £2000 funding for participating schools). We have Specialists in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford and Wolverhampton.

Embedding Mastery (includes £1000 funding - schools participating in Developing Mastery this year are automatically enrolled for Embedding Mastery.

Sustaining Mastery - further details to follow.

Please use the online bookings system for bookings.  All work groups are free, with cover costs of up to £200 per day paid for teachers in their first two years of teaching.
