Greetings to you from Petra!
Dear <<First Name>>,
Greetings in the name of our Lord!
"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" Philippians 4:4
We might not rejoice in our health or our financial situation, but we can always rejoice in our Lord and Savior, and in His gift of salvation. Keep your focus on Him.
Have a blessed week!

From Pastor Jeff
I am looking forward to our continued journey through the book of Acts on Sunday mornings!
This week we observed the clear indications that Peter was no longer the man he used to be. After receiving the Promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, he was filled with fire and zealousness to use the scriptures to testify of Jesus Christ. A man who just a few weeks before was ashamed and denying of the LORD and forced into hiding, now stood fearlessly before a crowd of thousands, correcting and instructing about the prophetic fulfillment of Jesus' predetermined life, death and resurrection for our salvation. Peter was no longer concerned about any worldly position he may attain or the remarkable personal testimony he may have to share but only to live to glorify the King of Glory, Jesus of Nazareth.
It was the perfect fulfillment of the foretold ministry of the Holy Spirit. That those who are filled with the Spirit, will behave in accordance with the ministry of the Holy Spirit, as Jesus said in John 14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you" and in John 15:26,27, "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning."
We may not find ourselves in such a situation as Peter but the Promise of the Father is available to us all nonetheless. Maybe to be brave and passionate enough to teach the Word of God as Truth to one's children, or to stand for one's faith in the workplace, or to desire to enter into quiet prayer on behalf of those around us whom we love. No one can even say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit [1 Corinthians 12:3].
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit! [Galatians 5:25]
God Bless you this week!
