As the borders open and WA enters the peak period of COVID caseload, to minimise the spread, all Avivo offices will be temporarily closed from Thursday, 3 March 2022 until further notice.
Whilst the offices are closed, we all continue to work. Support workers are supporting customers in their homes and communities and the office teams are working behind the scenes. Please give us a call if you need to talk with someone.
With COVID is in the community, it will have a big impact on the available workforce, including support workers and carers due to illness and requirements to home isolate. We will do everything we can to ensure customers receive the critical and essential supports they need. At times we may have to prioritise services and we appreciate your patience and flexibility.
We will do our best to keep you updated. Please check your email and our website for updates.
Staying safe and well
In the meantime, I want to send our thoughts and well wishes to you and your loved ones. These are indeed challenging times, but we're here to help you through.
If you have any questions about your supports during this period, please speak to your team or coordinator about how we can best address your concerns.
Make sure you have your COVID plan in place in case you or a family member becomes ill or needs to isolate.
Remember to apply for any free Rapid Antigen Tests available to you, including the five free from the WA government.
It's important that during this time we take care of ourselves and each other both physically and emotionally. Together we will get through this period.
Take care. Warm wishes,
