The Utah ski and snowboard industry closed the 2015-16 winter season up nearly 5 percent from the previous record during the 2007-08 season. Resort officials are optimistic about the upcoming season based on early bookings. Both Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort have invested in improvements for the upcoming season. Snowmaking has been enhanced at Deer Valley and Vail Resorts has launched an app extension called EpicMixTime to help skiers and riders better navigate the mountain. For the non-skiers in your group, the Park City Chamber Bureau has compiled a great list of outfitters for everything from dog sled rides to snowmobile tours to ice skating and even snowshoe food tours.
