Happy Day after Thanksgiving!

Welcome to our new and improved PTI Matters e-newsletter! Hope you're all enjoying some well-deserved time off...but if you're not (and you happen to be waiting with baited breath for the next off-the-wall issue of PTI Matters), here's our gift to you! Read on for some timely information about your very favorite prison-education program.

USEED Crowdfunding Update
In case no one has told you in awhile, you're awesome! You have helped us raise more than $18,000 in just a couple of weeks (for the most updated total, check our our USEED page)! By the time you get this newsletter, we will have 15 days left to get to $30,000, so please share the link far and wide! (I apologize for my explicit overuse of exclamation points - the grammarian in me is angry...but I'm just so excited about our fundraising! There I go again...)

Spring 2017
We value our PTI instructors so much, and we want to make sure you have everything you need to feel effective and comfortable in an often ineffective and uncomfortable environment. So we developed this nifty survey - please take a few minutes to help us plan our spring semester. We're particularly interested in scheduling some professional development opportunities. The survey will remain open until Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Getting ready for the end of the term
As we approach the end of the term, please make sure your team's attendance rosters are updated weekly. Please also plan to turn the following things into the PTI office in Teacher Prep after the final day of your class:
  • Gradebook
  • Attendance log (if you've been keeping a hard copy)
  • Syllabus (if you haven't already provided it)
  • Blank final exam or final essay prompt (if applicable)
  • Copies of graded student finals or final essays (if applicable)
We haven't yet established the deadline by which all these materials will need to be turned in, but the sooner, the better :)

And with that, we bid you adieu!

Whatdya' say we celebrate Princeton Black Squirrel Day instead of Black Friday?
