- KidWonder, San Diego's first Montessori-inspired Kinetic Learning Academy that offers an active learning curriculum and services, encourages children and families to engage in physical activity and whole-body movement to process new and difficult information. Co-founded and led by Kim Bryant, KidWonder plans to expand to a second location with support from Advance.
- Tower 999 is a collaborative initiative developing 94 residential units, 51% of which will be affordable housing for low-income families (80% area median income) in National City. Led by developers Cyrus Rapinan of Cyrus Capital and Brian Murray of SHIFT Capital, Tower 999 seeks to revitalize National City’s downtown corridor and offer affordable housing units at an important location.

In other news, the nonprofit loan pool of the San Diego County COVID-19 Small Business & Nonprofit Loan Program has disbursed all $5.2M in 0% interest loans to 26 San Diego County nonprofits impacted by the pandemic.
