NEW FUNDRAISER
Just in time for Christmas!!  Prince of Peace has been added to the Goodsearch listing of charities.  Here's how it works.  Go to www.Goodsearch.org and create an account.  Then, every time you need to search the web, go to www.goodsearch.org, make sure you are logged in and then enter the information you are looking for.  Every search earns a penny for POP!!  Additionally, you can use www.GoodShop.com and earn even more!  It doesn't cost you a thing other than the time to set up your account.  Spread the word and join the fun!  Let's see how much we can earn just doing what we would do anyhow!  For questions, please contact Lisa O'Reilly.

ANNUAL REPORTS DUE
Reports from all committee chairpersons are due in to Maureen (Admin. Asst) by Sunday, January 6th.  You can email them to: info@popwoodridge OR hand deliver them to the office.

INFO WANTED
Do you have:  Committee information, thank you's, important dates, announcements or a celebration?  Please let the office know so that we can include the information in our weekly POP News, bulletin insert and calendar!  Thanks!!

The Holidays are upon us! We have so much to be thankful for but it is so easy to forget what we are celebrating because we are so busy. Take a few minutes every day to “talk to God” as Pastor Tim puts it in his children’s sermon. Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated or eloquent; just talk to God, the Bible tells us He loves it when we do. He listens!

Some have challenges at this time of year and we need to keep them in our prayers. As we reflect on the Holidays, remember those who need our prayers. We need to encourage one another to talk to God about their blessing and their needs.

Take a few minutes right now! Yes, right now! Our heads we bow, our hands we fold it’s time to talk to God now. We pray and thank You for your Son and what you have given us. We pray for all those who are faced with illnesses, challenges and other concerns. Amen.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
