Prince of Peace has been added to the Goodsearch listing of charities.  Here's how it works.  Go to and create an account.  Then, every time you need to search the web, go to, make sure you are logged in and then enter the information you are looking for.  Every search earns a penny for POP!!  Additionally, you can use and earn even more!  It doesn't cost you a thing other than the time to set up your account.  Spread the word and join the fun!  Let's see how much we can earn just doing what we would do anyhow!  For questions, please contact Lisa O'Reilly.

Mark your calendars to join us on Tuesday, February 5th at Noon.  More information to follow.

Do you have:  Committee information, thank you's, important dates, announcements or a celebration?  Please let the office know so that we can include the information in our weekly POP News, bulletin insert and calendar!  Thanks!!

2019 has arrived!
As I look back, I think of how my faith has grown since I joined the Thursday morning Bible Study.  I have gained so much knowledge through the study of the Bible and the discussions that happen when someone has a question or comment on something we had read.  I find myself thinking of these discussions and how I can better my Christian life even when I am not at Church.

Two topics that we have spent time on is Grace and love for yourself and your neighbor.  Many of us didn’t grow up knowing much about Grace or love for others but they are important facets in the worship at Prince of Peace.  I feel it makes a difference in one’s life to have this love for all.  Ephesians 2:8-9 gives the following description of Grace. “For by grace you have been saved through faith and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."

With the new year here, it might be a good time to think how you can deepen your faith either with a regular devotion or joining a Bible Study group.  It never hurts to give more time to our relationship with the Lord.
Have A Happy and Blessed New Year!
Ruth H.
