The ESA BIC CH jury selected the next cohort of start-ups with a space connection on March 16th. From a large amount of incoming applications the experts identified 5 start-ups that will have the chance to join the program and profit from the extensive support that is offered.
We will of course tell you everything about our newcomers once they have officially joined the program mid May.

Other than that we were delighted to be covered in a report by Tele Top, a local Zurich broadcaster. You can watch it here (fluent swiss-german is a prerequisite though ;-). Thanks again to our alumnus Fixposition for contributing to it too.

Wishing you and your loved ones festive and sunny Easter holidays!

ESA BIC CH start-up: Inergio

Uninterrupted power supply anywhere and under any operating condition.

Inergio develops and commercializes innovative energy systems based on miniaturized fuel cell technology.
The developed fuel cells are 80% lighter than the average fuel cell, have 20 times the energy density compared to Li-batteries and are twice as efficient as diesel engines. That in combination of independence of any weather condition and without moving parts, noise or harmful emission the cells make an ideal power source for off-grid and mobile applications.

Application fields include:
  • Measuring stations
  • Oil and gas industry
  • Surveillance systems
  • Telecommunication
  • Leisure and entertainment
  • Autonomous robotics

Inergio recently started a collaboration with the space student association Asclepios to better prepare for space applications.
