Here we go with our concluding newsletter for this year 2022!
End of October the team moved offices to a new and very nice office in Weinbergstrasse 41 just one street up from our previous one. We would be excited to show you our nice new premises, so if you are around: feel free to pop by for a coffee! :-)
From November 16-18 one part of the team visited SLUSH in Helsinki and was joined by the start-ups Inergio, SoHHytec and XRnanotech. It was again a great experience and the event is doing its name justice as "The world's leading startup event". We had a fabulous and big ESA booth where a lot of interesting connections were made.
Meanwhile another part of the team attended Space Tech Expo in Bremen, joined by the ESA BIC CH start-ups Minwave, Kido Dynamics, Versics and Decentriq.
The Community Building Event on December 8th in person in Bern dealt with the topic Negotiating. The entertaining and very knowledgeable trainer Andy Marko from Sofo Consulting led this workshop and provided the start-ups upfront with a DISC Flow profile, according to which they could test and evaluate their personal negotiation style, which served as a basis for the training. A very lively and cheerful apéro concluded the event, which also served as a little pre-Christmas gathering.
We have a new partner in the program as well: Hagerbach Test Gallery, that is offering unique infrastructure which could serve as an interesting test bed for our start-ups. We look forward to good collaboration.
Last but not least the second jury session of the year took place on November 30th. We had a huge amount of really good applications and hence invited 10 start-ups to pitch in front of the jury. On a positive side note it can also be stated that this time around there was a considerable increase in female entrepreneurs. The official onboarding will be on January 16th, after which you will hear more about the newcomers.
