Most of us don't even realise when we are making decisions that will change our life forever.

This last Sunday someone told us they ignored the tiredness that made them want to stay in bed and instead came to church, shared a prophetic word and saw God use them as a result.  Someone else told us how a small disagreement followed by a refusal to forgive morphed over time into a total breakdown in relationship.  People think it is a small thing to choose whether or not to open their bible, to pray for their friends, to bite their lip and repent.  And yet it is precisely these small, everyday choices of obedience or disobedience that - more than any "Big Moments" - determine the trajectory of your life.

This last year we have seen many people surge forwards in their faith, but some have stalled and others have slipped way back.  Pretty much every time it wasn't a big thing but lots of small, everyday choices that determined their fate.  As you read the updates below and over this summer we encourage you to take time to think about your small everyday choices, and to ask God for the Spirit of wisdom and of perseverance to so fill you that you can identify and make those small decisions that will lead you into fullness of life in Christ.

With much affection

Tom and Lesley

VINEYARD ENGLISH SCHOOL
We've had a great time celebrating a fantastic academic year at Vineyard English School over the last couple of weeks. We had parties at our final classes of term and enjoyed the heat of British summer at our end of term outing to Morden Hall Park. It's been an amazing year welcoming people dozens and dozens of people from all over the world to form friendships with us, improve their English and have the opportunity to discover faith in Jesus. We can't wait to start back again at Croydon Central Library on Thursday 5th September! Want more info about English School? Contact caroline@croydonvineyard.org.uk
OPPORTUNITY TO BLESS A CROYDON SCHOOL

We'll be continuing collecting school uniform items this Sunday 28th July for Broadmead Primary School where Sarah Hunter is Head Teacher. We'd love you to help us bring blessing to a local Croydon primary school by bringing good quality new or used items (listed in the flyer) to church this Sunday (or indeed following Sundays in August)! Contact caroline@croydonvineyard.org.uk if you've got any questions.

An increasing amount of Lost Property is being gathered on Sunday mornings. If you think you might have lost something you can check if it's in our Lost & Found box - which is kept at our Welcome Table.
AND FINALLY - A BIG THANK YOU
On Sunday 14th July over 20 young people from our Alyve Youth Group washed 36 cars and sold over 200 cakes to raise funds for their transport and food costs relating to the Soul Survivor festival at the end of August. We are delighted to say that over £1000 was raised on the day! A big thank you for your generosity and well done to the young people for their graft! Please pray that the festival will be a time of blessing and breakthrough in the lives of all the young people!
