TENNIS WEST SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS

Tennis West is calling for nominations from interested and suitably qualified individuals to serve on their Board.

There are three positions open to election by the members, with nominations closing on Friday 6 September 2019.

CRIMINAL IMPLICATIONS FOR ON-FIELD ACTIONS

The Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association (ANZSLA) will examine the potential legal implications as a consequence of on-field actions through a presentation by David Grace QC on Wednesday 21 August 2019 from 5:30pm. 

David has been involved in numerous high profile sport matters, including representing 34 Essendon players before the AFL Ani-Doping Tribunal in 2015 and representing Andrew Gaff before the AFL Tribunal in August 2018.

MORE NRL ACTION FOR PERTH

2018 NRL premiers the Sydney Roosters have added to the growing number of games the sport is bringing to Western Australia, with the club to bring a home game each year to HBF Park for three years from next season.

"Local rugby league continues to go from strength to strength in Western Australia, and this will be a terrific opportunity for local fans to see some of the best of the best, in the flesh right here in Perth", said Minister for Sport Mick Murray.
