SWIMMING WA SEEKING PROJECT OFFICER
Swimming WA is seeking a Project Officer on a part time basis over the next six months.
This role is considered suitable for someone completing tertiary studies or a recent graduate. The successful candidate will have a close working relation with the Swimming WA development team, with the aim of increasing participation in the sport.

PLA WA OFFERS CRITICAL RESPONSE WORKSHOP
Parks & Leisure Australia (WA) will deliver a workshop on Wednesday 13 February, "Crictical Response in Events - A Hypothetical Workshop".
In this workshop, participants will work together through hypothetical challenges to event planning and delivery to gain greater confidence, assurance and transferable skills around the application of better practice event risk management.

"BEAT THE PRO" COMING TO PERTH TOURNAMENT
Golf fans who sit on the couch watching golf on TV boasting they could play a better shot than the professionals will have their chance to prove it at the ISPS HANDA Worls Super 6 Perth, with the launch of "Beat the Pro".
On the third day of play (Sat 16 Feb) up to 20 lucky fans will tee off against the pros on the par 3 12th hole at Lake Karrinyup Country Club for a chance to win $1,000 worth of golf products.

GRANTS PROVIDE PATHWAYS TO PARTICIPATION IN SPORT
A dedicated tenpin bowling program for Western Australians with disability and a program linking vulnerable young women to junior cricket clubs are among 18 initiatives that have received a boost through State Government funding.
The Targetet Participation Program (TPP) provides funding the enable organisations to promote participation and engagement in sport and active recreation, particularly among low participation groups.

WA's best have been recognised at the first CAMS State Awards, presented in front of a full house at Crown Perth last Saturday night.
