Things we'll do at our first meeting

Our first meeting of the 2016 - 2017 season will be Monday, September 12. As you know from our last e-Blast, the guest speaker will be Lloyd Butler, but there are a few other things on the agenda.

#1 - Wigstand Competition
Dave Taylor examines a wig stand
Bring the wig stands you made this summer.
Remember the last meeting of the 2015-16 season when Dave Taylor challenged us to make wig stands in support of cancer patients? On Monday, Dave and a team of experts will judge the wig stands you made and award prizes to the top three. Don't just watch from the sidelines, there's still time to make a stand! You'll be helping a cancer patient and you may win a great prize.
#2 - Show and Tell Table

Bring something you made.
Not that we really need excuses or incentives, but on Monday, anyone who brings a piece for the table will receive two free tickets for the wood raffle we'll have at the end of the meeting.
#3 - Sign up for Hands On
