Greetings from Mt. Shasta dear friends!
I'm honored to be able to share with you some updates and recent photos for this past November's piano concert and art exhibition in the Mt. Shasta area of California! The trip started out supercharged, literally, as my small plane coming in from Seattle to Medford, OR was struck by lightning!!! It was a brilliant flash of light, but no sound....some burn damage on the plane and certainly a unique experience haha!
Maybe I should play the lottery next as it's said you have more a chance of being struck by lightning than winning it, I think? LOL :)
I guess it was a lucky strike because the concert and exhibition was wonderful in all ways and we had a great team to work with from the sound recording with Luminarcanum Records, videography as well as the technical crew and hosts of the venues. The performance and art exhibition was also being filmed as part of a documentary series called "Refresh Quest" and hopefully will be distributed next year on PBS. I will let you know details as I find out more!
I will share some pics here below from the event where I played an original composition of mine, solo pieces by Debussy and Chopin, and also accompanied a very talented opera singer and musician named Chase Chandler...
