It is almost June!! You know what that means? Summer sailing is almost upon us! We have spaces available in our early classes still for the summer so start your summer off with a bang by sailing at SSA! We have room in beginner, adventure and some of our race teams! Our staff is an awesome group of sailors mostly hailing from the Annapolis area and we'd love to have your kids sail with them!
Also, we recently ended our high school spring season and although we didn’t qualify for Mallory we had a very successful year as multiple Freshman were starting on a regular basis. We are sad to see our Seniors leave but we wish them luck at the college level and we know they will do big things in their future. Caroline Kelly, Senior at Archbishop-Spalding will be attending Tufts University in the fall, she will also be an Adventure sailing instructor this summer! Emma Snead, a senior at Broadneck High School will be attending the Coast Guard Academy in New London Connecticut this coming fall! We wish her the best of luck! Lastly, Noelle Owen a senior at Archbishop Spalding will be attending the College of Charleston in Charleston South Carolina. She will also be our Harbor Rookie summer instructor this year! Thank you all for everything you have done and we hope you continue sailing and coming back to SSA.

The Standing Race Committee is looking for two more members to take on two responsibilities; TESOD and Thursday night racing. These members only need to be the communications people for these events. It will be a weekly communication effort with reminders (All canned) and suggestions and maybe a fun report or picture. Interested members should have an infectious and fun demeanor!
