Wow! What a busy way to start this week, we had our annual Sandy MacVickar Junior Regatta on Monday and it went very well! We had 143 registrants which totaled 177 sailors! Charles Anderson (Laser) finished 2nd overall while Robbie Herzog finished 2nd in white fleet and Jake Beaver finished 3rd in white fleet. In Green Fleet, Lizzie Scales finished 3rd overall, so a big congrats to all of the SSA junior sailors that got some hardware this week! The Junior Program will not be hosting any classes the remainder of this July 4th week. We will be back to coaching on July 8th. We also have our TESOD Alumni regatta on Tuesday July 9th and the Olivia Constants Team Race Invitational the 13th and 14th! Register here! We hope everyone has an amazing 4th of July! Also, if you have availability, the USODA is coming to Annapolis at the end of August and the sailors need a place to stay. We have multiple Opti Sailors out of SSA planning to sail with this team when they get into town and one of our members, Fletcher Perkins is in charge of arranging housing for the sailors. If you have an open room and would like to help out with this please contact him via this email: fletcher.perkins@ACARAwealth.com.
