Where have you lived besides Richmond?
I'm a Florida girl at heart! I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. My family and I moved to little ole New Kent when I was in high school. I definitely experienced a bit of culture shock!

How did you come to call the Museum District home?
My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I moved in together in 2009 just outside the Museum District into Georgetown Apartments. We then rented in Manchester, and Woodland Heights. We realized we wanted to buy a house but the city wasn't in our budget so we bought a foreclosure property in the east end. Over the course of a few years we flipped that home which allowed us to purchase in our dream neighborhood, the Museum District!

Tell us a little about your career path.
I've worked for a public school system for over 10 years. I currently work in grant accounting but if you’re at all familiar, you know we do a little bit of everything :)
What is your favorite part of the Museum District?
Having everything so close is my favorite part of the Museum District. Several friends are just blocks away, bars, coffee shops, and restaurants at the end of the block- what could be better than that?!

What is your favorite thing to do in Richmond?
Trying new restaurants is my all time favorite pastime. My friends know I always have a running list of new places to try! Most recently I tried Hot Chick and loved it!

Tell us about your hobbies and interests.
I love exploring, rather it be mid century shops like Dust or Verve, or museums or the James river. I also love reading, interior design and loving on my 6 nieces and nephews!
