One representative from your organization must report to the parade check-in site at 8:45 a.m. this Saturday, January 14. All parade participants from your organization should also plan to be onsite by this time.
Please see details below for parking and meeting location.
IMPORTANT NOTE: CMPD will begin closing Uptown streets at 9 a.m. It will be very difficult to access the parade staging area at this time. Please encourage all of your participants to be on time.
You will receive upon check-in:
Parade step-off time is 9:59 a.m. - you will travel on Tryon Street from 9th Street to MLK, Jr Blvd.
- Your parade line-up position
- Your paddle board sign indicating your unit number
- Your parade banner
- Supplied by the committee, only for organizations which registered a vehicle
- If your organization would like to use this banner, you'll need to provide two individuals to carry the banner in the parade
Immediately after MLK, Jr. Boulevard, please return your paddle board sign and banner (if received) to a parade representative. The parade committee will send invoices to organizations which fail to return signs and banners.
Again, thank you for your patience with our organizing committee of volunteers. We look forward to a wonderful parade this Saturday morning.
