Student Advising Project

Advising for a New Era

Dear Undergraduate Students,

I hope that your semester is going well. I am excited to inform you that Georgia Tech will go live with a new student advising solution called Advisor Link on Monday, Sept. 14. The new solution will replace GradesFirst and introduces new features and functionality to help us ensure we provide you with the best academic advising and overall student experience. Advisor Link allows us to serve you more effectively through streamlined communication, a refined flow for appointment setting, and student success plans. One of the most exciting aspects surrounding this initiative is that it involved contributions from Student Government Association representatives across Georgia Tech to make it happen.

We invite you to learn more about Advisor Link prior to the launch by visiting the New Era Advising website at the link below.

Thank you for your support.

Dr. Colin Potts
Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education
