Robot Technician Wanted - MassRobotics is looking to hire someone to provide technical support to project teams developing novel robots for advanced manufacturing and workforce training. This person will be responsible for integrating robot hardware and software, building prototype robots and keep them operational. This position is primarily funded by government and university research grants and is a full-time position.  For more details please contact us at before January 25th.

The Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and National Robotics Programme have just launched a Built Environment Robotics Research and Development programme, focusing on research, development, and deployment of innovative robotics in manufacturing, assembly, and smart and sustainable assets. Submissions close January 11, 2019. More information can be found at BCA’s website.

AlphaLab Gear Hardware Cup’s 5th pitch competition for early-stage hardware startups will highlight the most promising physical product startups in 7 cities, including Boston. Winners in each city will receive $3k cash and other prizes, as well as a chance to win a $50,000 convertible-debt investment from Startbot VC at the International Finals in May. Any startup with a physical product component can apply: manufactured products, IoT/connected devices, health/medical, consumer products, consumer electronics, food, fashion, robotics, etc. The Northeast Application cycle closes on January 27th.  Apply here
