Boston Fan Expo
The Boston Fan Expo attracted many attendees who dressed as their favorite robots, but they didn't expect to see real ones! This event gave fans a chance to meet visionaries that made science fiction a reality on screen including cast members from Star Trek, Back to the Future, 2001 a Space Odyssey and more. MassRobotics shared a few real robots, which were a big hit with the families and fellow robot fans.

Robot Technician Wanted - MassRobotics is looking to hire someone to provide technical support to project teams developing novel robots for advanced manufacturing and workforce training. This person will be responsible for integrating robot hardware and software, building prototype robots and keep them operational.  This position is primarily funded by government and university research grants and is a full-time position.  For more details please contact us at before September 4th.

Neurala has built vision-based AI solutions to speed up sourcing and tagging data called Brain Builder. Their initial beta has shown to reduce data tagging time by up to 35% and increased accuracy up to 40% compared to prior tools. They are opening up their beta to some more users. On September 25th, the Roxbury Innovation Center will host Robotics Café Night from 5-9PM. This is a networking event with workshops, demo tables, and other activities to enlighten community members on resources and the latest products of that industry. DARPA Seeks Help Developing Microrobotics for Disaster Recovery and High-Risk Environments. August 22nd, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Robotics Encounter: Good Samaritan Medical Center will be bringing the daVinci Surgical robot to the Children's Museum in Easton for a special program.  Participants will hear how robotics have helped advance medical procedures then have an opportunity to operate the robot themselves!  Registration required.

September 13th,  Mass Innovation Nights is a well-known monthly Boston area showcase event that helps tech startups gain visibility, social media engagement, and professional connections. This month will focus on robotics, AI, and clean-energy companies. Click here to learn more or RSVP.
