Back To School!

Welcome back, Falcon Family! School is back in session and we are all excited to get to work! It’s time to celebrate students, highlight our staff and faculty, support each other and be the best Falcons we can be. Together we fly!

Meet Mr. Dennis Dupree

The CMSD Board of Trustees appointed former Falcon administrator Mr. Dennis Dupree as Interim Superintendent. Dupree is a veteran educator with nearly four decades of successful work experience in the public school system. He served more than a decade with CMSD, holding roles as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent. Dupree is a servant leader and a humble man who loves working with children. He has always had a heart for children and has worked tirelessly throughout his career to see that the students he serves are exposed, enriched, and receive all they deserve. In 2019, Dupree retired from Clarksdale Municipal School District after serving 12 years as superintendent. He returns to CMSD during a critical time. Our district looks forward to Mr. Dupree’s experience and expertise while the Board of Trustees continues its search for a permanent superintendent. Welcome aboard, Mr. Dupree!
