The Book Club is back!
October's book selection is the
Second Edition of Charles C. Mann's bestseller, 1491.
A study that radically alters our understanding of the Americas before the arrival of the Europeans in 1492, and a necessary book for understanding the long, remarkable story of the indigenous peoples of the Western Hemisphere.
You can order your copy from Vashon Bookshop by calling (463-2616). They will call when it comes in and leave it in their hallway for quick and easy pickup. The bookshop is also part of bookshop.org if you would rather order online and have it shipped directly to you.
