National Spotlight Achieved for TRC- Men's U17 1X takes Silver at 2021 Youth Nationals

RALEIGH, N.C., June 14, 2021 – It was a memorable week for Triangle Rowing Club (TRC) at the 2021 Youth Nationals at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida on June 10th-13th. Luke Eward of TRC won the Silver in the Men's U17 1X!  Eward has a promising rowing career ahead, achieving this national ranking at such a young age. 

Other impressive finishes for Triangle Rowing Club included 4th in the Women’s U17 2-, 9th in the Men’s 2-, 10th in the Women’s 2-, 15th in the Men’s U17 4+, 15th in the Women’s U17 8+, 20th in the Women’s 1x, 23rd in the  Men’s U17 2x, 29th in the Women’s 8+, 33rd in the Men’s 8+. 
This summer TRC has Learn To Row Camps for rising 7th-12th graders available June 14-18, June 21-25, July 19-23 and August 2-6. No experience necessary.  For more information, please visit

Triangle Rowing Club (TRC) is a competitive rowing team based in Wake County, North Carolina for middle and high school students in the Triangle area. The club practices at Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh. Triangle Rowing Club was voted the Best Youth Sports League/Organization in the Triangle in the WRAL Voter’s Choice Awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
