The SME Brexit Support Fund offers up to £2,000 to business with less than 500 employees and no more than £100 million annual turnover. The grant can be used for various types of training and for businesses to get professional advice so they can meet the new customs, excise, import VAT or safety and security declaration requirements. York Festival of Ideas will return from 8-20 June, celebrating a decade of educating, entertaining and inspiring. Offering over 200 events under the banner of Infinite Horizons, this year's programme covers topics as diverse as climate change, artificial intelligence, archaeology, health and space. The festival programme goes live on Friday 30 April. Find out more
Two York-based companies have joined forces to create a brand-new event - the York Spring Fair & Food Festival - bringing together one of the largest vintage funfairs seen in North Yorkshire for many years, and a food festival which will showcase the very best artisan products from Yorkshire and beyond.

National Railway Museum is getting ready to welcome visitors back, with free tickets released online from 26 April. As well as familiar stars of the museum’s collection, launching at the National Railway Museum, the photographic exhibition celebrates railway key workers and their role in the national response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Joseph Rowntree Theatre launched its latest fundraising campaign, Buy a Tile. The theatre urgently needs to raise £45,000 in order to replace its theatre roofs - the original ones laid when the theatre was built in 1935. Without these repairs to the old roofs, the theatre risks damage to the fabric of its building, which is Grade II listed. Find out more and support
