Message from Our President
Who’s ready for Spring?! I certainly am!

Although, it’s hard to complain about winter when the balmy 65-degree days seem to have surpassed the number of actual snowstorms we’ve had this season.

We are ready to spring ahead with CC of HHK happenings – many of which are in the throws of being planned as I type this.  Be sure to mark your calendar for March 26th, when CC of HHK will partner with Friends of Christine Danza and get our “shimmy on” as we DANCE FOR DANZA – a Zumba benefit to raise funds and support for Christine, a member of our community who suffered a very serious neck injury back in December. The event is taking place at the Community Church of Ho-Ho-Kus and promises to be fun for all – for those with school age children, feel free to bring the kids!

As Easter nears, our annual Easter Party and Egg Hunt is taking place on Sunday, April 2nd – a family favorite for sure. (And on your next trip to Rite Aid or the supermarket over these next few weeks, please consider picking up a bag of nut-free Easter Candy/tattoos/mini erasers – I’m sure the committee would appreciate this as they begin to get their egg stuffing materials together.)

And be sure to mark your calendar and book your sitter from NOW for our annual Spring Fundraiser event, taking place on Saturday, June 3rd from 7pm – 11pm. Full details to come at a later date, but I can tell you this will be an event you do not want to miss out on – a fantastic way to kick off Summer!

Remember to keep up to date with our happenings on Facebook, check your emails for Evites and Gmail communications, and visit our website.  If you have any questions about the club, reach us at

I hope to see you soon at our next General Meeting on March 7th!

From Social Services, Stacey Reddy & Nicole Garcia
Social Services sold personalized Ho-Ho-Kus napkins this holiday season and sold out quickly!
Again this holiday season, the club supported the Valley Hospital in providing holiday presents for an identified family in need. We were able to support a family with two small children who requested basic items such as diapers, clothes and other baby items. Our contact at Valley reported that this family was focused only on basic needs they required assistance with for their children. Club members stepped up to supplement those requests by also providing basic items for mom and dad, as well as additional diapers in bigger sizes, pajamas, and educational toys. We delivered 6 bags in all, teeming with gifts and were told that the family was so grateful for all of the gifts they received.
Check the club's Facebook group for information on purchasing.
Our commitment to Meals on Wheels continues through the year so keep an eye out for volunteer requests at meetings and on Facebook, Time commitment is 11am-12pm and can easily be done by 1 or 2 people. Great opportunity to bring along your kids to show them what giving back to your community looks like! Please contact Stacey ( or Nicole ( for any additional information. Thank you!
This years' Sweetheart Dance was held on Friday, February 10th and was a huge success! As one of the year's most loved and popular events, it raised substantial funds for our beneficiaries and all of the adorable "couples" got sugared up and danced the night away. Thanks to all the wonderful committee members and volunteers for making such a beautiful night possible.
What better way to chase the winter blues away than with a Comedy Night! The club sponsored a fun evening fundraiser at Bananas Comedy Club on Saturday January 28th, including a 50/50 raffle and it was a rousing success. Sure to be included in next years' calendar, make sure you don't miss out on the next opportunity for some grown up fun!

Lisa and Mike Pisano welcomed Sienna Katerina to their family on December 1. Her big brother Rocco is super pumped! Sienna was born at 10:16 am, weighing 8 lbs 3 oz and was 20.25 inches long! Everyone is head over heels in love.
