Nebraska produce growers staying busy at farmers markets

After a wet spring that delayed planting of some of the state's fruits and vegetables, the season is starting to get into full swing. There are hundreds of vendors located all across Nebraska, selling at numerous farmers market locations, roadside stands or U-pick sites.
An easy way to locate farmers markets or produce vendors in your area is to use the Nebraska Department of Agriculture’s Farmers Market Database, which you can find by clicking here. You can search by market, grower name, city or county.
The database also identifies those vendors who have been certified and can accept Senior and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupons.
