(From left to right) Saara, Chase & Glenn of the Brooklyn based all-girl band BOYTOY will be having a busy 2017 with a new EP, Putty, out in February and a tour underway.

Name: Saara Untracht-Oakner   //   Occupation: Musician, artist, bartender   //   Age: 29   //   City: Brooklyn   //   Astrological sign: Aquarius

When you're not creating: I try to never not be creating.  But when I'm not, surfing, skate cruises, listening to records, making smoothies...shit, does that count as creating?

Currently watching/listening/reading: Black Mirror, Witch, Isaac Asimov short stories.

Best work environment: Clean and organized, natural light with some plants and a little bit of marijuana.

Why you love your city: NYC has everything and all the in-betweens.  Every kind of person, food, economic status, art, music, style, language, and you can get it at any time. New Yorkers are so aware because we have to be. We're such a liberal city because we see all facets of life in such close quarters.

What's next: January 9th at Baby's All Right 7" release show. Tour to LA. Record a new record in Topanga Canyon in March. Tour back to NY. Set up another 6 month plan.

Ladies who we should know: Marie Sophie-Lockhart (Lockhart Embroidery), Rahill Jamalifard (Roya, Habibi)

Name: Chase Noelle   //   Occupation: drummer   //   City: Nashville

To cope with a long commute: reading Dolly Parton' memoirs aloud

Current obsession: trying to do that dancehall move where you jump sitting down with just your ass

Favorite interview you've done: that one from London
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZd5wyiXQ34

Personal role model: Erykah Badu

Worse thing you ever made: honor roll

Ladies who we should know: boytoy

Name: Glenn Michael Van Dyke   //   Occupation: musician/schemer   //   Age: 26   //   City: Jacksonville/Brooklyn/LA    //   Astrological sign: Capricorn/Aquarius cusp

End of the day unwind: depends on who's around

To cope with a long commute: Doing butt cheek clenches to the beat of the song. Great car work out, highly entertaining.

Current obsession: Finishing a script for a horror/gore surf stoner movie in which we all have cameo deaths. Hoping it'll be so bad it's good.

Reoccurring dream: I have to find something which is unclear, before midnight, in the Addams' Family house and usually I fall into a alligator pit.

What's next: Touring, building a studio, making said movie, making more records!

Ladies who we should know: Rin Johnson @rindonjohnson, Fabi Reyna (She Shreds Magazine) @sheshredsmag

Kehlani- Table ft. Little Simz (Official Video)
...Kehlani and Little Smiz are the shit!
Two bad ass ladies talking about bringing it to the Table.

I know I'm not no messiah, and I am far from a prophet
But if the earth set on fire, I think I know how to stop it
I'm not afraid of opinion, I know the devil be working
I just keep up with my focus and keep my nose in these verses
I've been a real down to earth chick, never surface
I pick a backpack over a purse chick
Never at ya service, here for your worstest
Ha, don't I sound perfect?
I know what I bring, to the table, to the table
Thanks for participating. See you next Monday!
