Name: Abbey Bender    ::    Occupation: Writer    ::    City: New York    ::    Astrological sign: Taurus

When you're not creating: I'm watching a movie, talking a bath, listening to a record, wasting time online, or eating a snack, probably! Though if I want to be truly creative I should just say I'm always creating.

Your personal masterpiece: Honestly, it was probably this... the sentiment has led to some of my favorite pieces I've written!

Current obsession: Norma Kamali dresses, corgis, and my hot pink sparkly Caboodles case, to name just a few.

Favorite interview you've done: I really loved talking to Anna Biller and getting excited about 70s-inspired fashion.

Why you love your city: I've lived in New York City my entire life, and I love the selection of movie theaters/stores/restaurants/museums/etc., and being able to walk places. Not having a driver's license rules.

What's next: More writing for more outlets, and hopefully a book one day!

Ladies we should know: Monica Castillo, Kristen Yoonsoo Kim, Miriam Bale, Sarah Marshall, Hazel Cills
