Congratulations to our Journalism and Media Production students who won Northwest Regional Emmy Awards from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Northwest Chapter last month!

Recent Murrow graduate Andrew Baertlein won two Northwest Regional Emmy Awards for stories in the "Sports Story or Segment category" and "Short Form Non-Fiction category".

Murrow Homecoming Tailgate on Oct. 9
Save the date for this year’s Murrow College alumni tailgate! Join us for this year's Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 9, 2021, as WSU plays the Oregon State Beavers. Stop by Thompson Flats and Goertzen Hall to network with fellow alumni, take facility tours with Murrow student ambassadors, and hear from Murrow College leadership - all while playing yard games and enjoying snacks and beverages before cheering on the Cougs.
The tailgate will start three hours before kick-off and end 30 minutes after kick-off. Game time will be announced by WSU Athletics at a later date. We will forward this information along as soon as it's announced.
