The Infinity Insider
October 2019

The Infinity Insider is a monthly newsletter to all members of the Infinity family. We hope it allows you to get to know us better and to assist with staying up-to-date with all of the excitement.

A Note From Coach Mark

Although we did reach a record high of 91 on October 1, we are now seeing the "real" Fall temperatures so you may need to stop in and visit the Pro Shop for an Infinity blanket or sweatshirt.

We are excited that October is here and we will officially kick-off our 11th Competition Season! The season begins with our annual Premiere Showcase, which will take place on Saturday, October 26. Although our school cheer athletes, allstar, and prep athletes will perform on Saturday, ALL Infinity athletes and families are invited to attend the Showcase performances, as well as, invite lots of family and friends. Additional communication regarding specific times will be forthcoming. As a reminder to allstar (Unity; Envy; Icon) and prep (Integrity) families, please reserve the entire day on Saturday, October 26 as athletes will be having formal pictures taken, practice, performance, and sleepover. If you own a small business and would like to donate an item or services to the annual Premier raffle, please drop it off at the Front Desk.

As we head deeper into the Fall, we are excited to launch a family of new programs targeted toward preschool-aged athletes. Please see below for additional details and ask Coach Kara, our Program Director, if you have any specific questions. Details regarding class times and dates will be forthcoming shortly.

As always, we appreciate the support we receive from all of our families.

Infinity Cheer & Tumbling is excited to announce a brand-new selection of classes for our preschool-aged athletes. Infinity will provide a safe, fun environment for our tiniest tumblers to learn balance, coordination, strength exercises and peer cooperation all located right inside the Infinity Cheer & Tumbling Facility.

Preschool classes will be structured, but not rigid, to allow for athletes to channel their physical energy while learning to socialize with other classmates safely.

All classes are designed to encourage whole-body exercise and emphasize the joy of movement.

Mom & Me
A positive play environment where caregiver and young children can experience exercise together. This class incorporates music, singing, movement and developmental activities for ages 18 months-2 years. We're teaching the joy of movement to our children at a young age to create a life-long love of physical activity.

Tots Tumbling
Three and four-year olds will have a blast learning the beginner basics of tumbling in this class. We'll continue signing, dancing, and jumping as we learn how to balance, engage our muscles, learn spatial awareness and test our coordination.

Superhero Training
It's a's a's an Infinity Superhero! Learn to sour, jump, fly and tumble like a superhero! Obstacles, rescue missions and challenging games will be the highlight of this 45-minute class. Ages 3-5.

Open Play
An hour and 15 minutes in our huge facility all to yourselves! Run, jump, slide, hoola-hoop and even bounce in our giant bouncy-houses. Open play is dedicated for free play and is not structured. Adult supervision inside the gym is required at all times.

Please consider helping Infinity Cheer & Tumbling spread the word by passing out Halloween postcard/coupons in your neighborhood and/or school/preschool Halloween party. Free bags of 20 will be available at the front desk mid-October.

Coach Sam has been with Infinity as a tumbling coach for about six months, about the same time he moved to Ohio from Michigan. Coach Sam was a coed cheerleader at Michigan State University for four years of his undergrad and then coached the team as an Assistant Coach for two years after that. He currently lives in Westlake with his chubby cat named "Chow".
