We began the 2017 Legislative Session with the introduction of 1,601 House bills and 1,317 Senate bills for consideration. We are now conducting hearings and things are moving fast. The House has established an online bill tracking system and I encourage you to use this tool to track items of interest to you. Go to http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/ and follow the instructions there to review bills, committee reports, submit testimony, and to have emails sent to you when bills you are tracking are scheduled for a hearing. In addition, the Public Access room located on the 4th floor of the State Capitol, Room#401, conveniently provides many resources, vital information, and assistance with the Legislative Process. Here's a Link to their website for more information.
